The Rheinmetall 9 Bang BTV-EL is an advanced sound and flash grenade designed for tactical training and operational use by military and law enforcement personnel. This grenade features a 9-bang effect with bottom and top venting, delivering a series of intense flashes and sound bursts with a 0.5-second delay between detonations. It generates a sound pressure level of approximately 165 dB at 2 meters and a luminous intensity of 2.5 Mcd, providing effective disorientation in dynamic environments. The BTV-EL is equipped with a fly-off lever fuze for reliable ignition and has a compact design with a net explosive quantity of 21.1 grams. Packaged in a secure ammunition box, it offers a shelf life of up to 5 years and is classified under UN 0431, 1.4G for safe handling and transport.
