Rampart is seeking a highly motivated Admin Professional. This position is primarily responsible to acquire and maintain knowledge of product specifications, technology, and equipment function/integration in support of sales, customer service and other departments within the organization. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday.

Essential Functions

  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of product specifications, technology, and equipment function/integration
  • Support territory managers with a variety of tasks including generation of quotes, collecting information, managing processes on CRM
  • Assisting customer service and other departments within the organization as first level subject matter expert related to product specifications, technology and equipment function/integration
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Adjust quotes – match purchase orders, update costs, POC’s and dates.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Competencies and Expectations

  • Proficient computer, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office

Purchasing Assistant

Rampart is seeking a highly motivated administrative assistant. This position is primarily responsible to support sales, customer service and other departments within the organization. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

Essential Functions

  • Support Purchasing Manager with a variety of tasks including review of opportunities in our Salesforce CRM, collecting information, and managing processes on CRM as well as submitting purchases to vendors.
  • Liaising with other departments within the organization to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing all documentation in relation to transactions including purchase orders, order confirmations, commercial invoices, and shipping documents.
  • Tracking orders and adjusting delivery dates and/or quantities where required in order to meet agreed upon deadlines.
  • Corresponding with suppliers for shipping details and tracking the delivery of goods.
  • Assisting customer service and other departments within the organization
  • Tend to word processing, filing, and faxing duties
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Sales presentations and demonstrations to Law Enforcement, First Responders, Security and other government agencies
  • Attending law enforcement trade shows and distributor events
  • Extensive travel through your territory including overnight stays
  • Manage existing customers effectively while always searching for new potential business
  • Communicating effectively with your sales, support and management team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year sales experience preferred
  • MUST be a problem solver and able to work with autonomy
  • MUST be located in the Greater Toronto Area or be willing to re-locate
  • Efficiently manage time in and out of the office
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an independent environment with minimum supervision and deliver against set goals
