VIDEOGRAPHER / GRAPHIC DESIGNER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Rampart is looking for a Videographer / Graphic Designer to join the marketing team supporting our rapidly expanding Law Enforcement sales program. In this role, you will help conceptualize and produce video content, digital advertising campaigns, print material, and more, taking requirements from concept to completion. This job requires someone who is ambitious, a self-starter, and willing to put themselves in the middle of the action to ensure success. This position is based in Ottawa, Ontario.
RESPONSIBILITIES WITHIN THE TEAM
- Contribute to world-class brand representation for the products distributed by Rampart
- Contribute to the vision for look, feel and functionality on multiple projects of varying size
- Create mock-ups, design concepts quickly and independently
- Explain the rationale for your creative choices
RESPONSIBILITIES WITHIN THE TEAM
- Collaborate with marketing team to execute design concepts that meet project objectives and timeline.
- Use creative storytelling techniques to engage audiences and enhance brand awareness through video editing.
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, product showcases, and social media platforms.
- Develop visually appealing and cohesive designs for digital and print materials, including but not limited to brochures, banners, advertisements, packaging, and branding assets.
- Create marketing and sales support documents to send to prospective customers (one-pagers, spec sheets).
- Produce graphics for trade shows (banners, handout material).
- Design and develop visually striking and user-friendly website landing pages to drive engagement and conversions.
- Prepare print-ready files with attention to detail and accuracy for production.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years experience in graphic design and/or video production (shooting/editing/publishing)
- Proven experience in digital/print assets, web design, and social media content.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite design software (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects etc.).
- A proven record of being able to deliver on projects.
- Advanced skills in video shooting, editing, and post-production using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- An understanding of how to research information and apply that knowledge to design and marketing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong writing skills.
- Proven multitasking skills; creative design capabilities and working knowledge of social media optimization through applicable platforms
- Proficiency in basic computer tools (MS Office, Google AdWords, and web analytics)

- Graphic Design: 3-5 years (required)
- Video Production: 3-5 years (required)
SCHEDULE
- Monday to Friday
LOCATION
- In-office position (Ottawa, Ontario), opportunity for hybrid after training and onboarding period.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
- French not required, but is a bonus
- Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
- Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year
